We are Kobus and Tyla Labuschagne, a husband-and-wife duo who founded our company at the end of 2022. Our journey began with our own children's detailed birthday parties; after receiving frequent encouragement from friends and family to turn our passion into a profession, we started dabbling in balloon artistry and event decor. Over the past four years, our business has grown exponentially, evolving from simple balloon creations into a full-service venture offering high-end hire items and professional-grade displays. We chose the name 'Piper’s Parties' as a tribute to our daughter, Piper, because it all stemmed from throwing her parties—the very first parties we created were for her, so it was truly a 'Piper's Party.' As a local family of six living in Swadlincote for the past seven years, creating beautiful displays has become more than just a job—it’s our genuine passion. We are incredibly excited to be expanding our services this year and look forward to making your celebrations as memorable as the ones we have curated for our own children over the years.
Pickup & Drop-off Rules: Please ensure your car is empty and seats are folded down, as balloon displays are large. If collecting during hot weather, set your air conditioning to 'full blast' to prevent popping. In cold weather, keep your heater at a moderate level; it is normal for balloons to expand and contract with temperature changes, and they will return to their natural shape once back at room temperature. If your balloons are being delivered, please follow the attached balloon care instructions.
